Don Bonomo Optimist Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is named in memory of Don Bonomo, a former Optimist member and club president. He was a math teacher and he owned a music store in Clinton. This scholarship is open to all South Vermillion High School seniors who are pursuing a degree in Business or Education at an Indiana college. The applicant must have a GPA of 3.0 or better. The applicant must have demonstrated leadership skills and been involved in community service in Vermillion County with an emphasis on activities involving youth. Two letters of recommendation must be submitted: one from a teacher and one from a community leader.
